Tar\u0131m, yoksullu\u011fun sona ermesi, refah\u0131n adil da\u011f\u0131l\u0131m\u0131 ve artan g\u0131da ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131n kar\u015f\u0131lanmas\u0131nda en \u00f6nemli ara\u00e7t\u0131r. 2050 y\u0131l\u0131nda D\u00fcnya n\u00fcfusunun 9.8 milyara ula\u015fmas\u0131 beklenirken n\u00fcfusun %70\u2019nin kentlerde ya\u015fayaca\u011f\u0131 ve k\u00fcresel g\u0131da talebinin %50, hayvansal g\u0131da talebinin ise %70 artaca\u011f\u0131 \u00f6ng\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. (WRI, 2018). Ancak mevcut g\u0131da sistemi bu ihtiyac\u0131 kar\u015f\u0131lamada yetersiz kalman\u0131n yan\u0131nda hem d\u00fcnya hem de insan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in bir tehdit olu\u015fturuyor. D\u00fcnyadaki temiz su kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n %70\u2019i tar\u0131msal faaliyetlerde kullan\u0131l\u0131rken \u00fcretim a\u015famas\u0131nda uygulanan sentetik kimyasallar su kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131 kirletiyor, g\u0131dalardaki kal\u0131nt\u0131lar insan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 i\u00e7in b\u00fcy\u00fck bir tehdit olu\u015fturuyor. G\u0131da \u00fcretimine ili\u015fkin \u00e7evresel etkilerin \u00f6nemi ve b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fc \u015fekil-1\u2019de yer almaktad\u0131r. &nbsp;&nbsp;D\u00fcnya n\u00fcfusunun %8.9 u a\u00e7l\u0131k ya\u015f\u0131yorken mevcut tar\u0131msal sistemde \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fck bedeller ile elde edilen \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin \u00fc\u00e7te biri kaybediliyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/kalkinmaguncesi.izka.org.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1-1024x512.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-489\" srcset=\"https:\/\/kalkinmaguncesi.izka.org.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1-1024x512.png 1024w, https:\/\/kalkinmaguncesi.izka.org.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1-300x150.png 300w, https:\/\/kalkinmaguncesi.izka.org.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1-768x384.png 768w, https:\/\/kalkinmaguncesi.izka.org.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1-1100x550.png 1100w, https:\/\/kalkinmaguncesi.izka.org.tr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/1.png 1296w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption>\u015eekil-1: G\u0131da ve Tar\u0131m\u0131n \u00c7evresel Etkileri( <a href=\"https:\/\/ourworldindata.org\/environmental-impacts-of-food\">Our World In Data<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Tar\u0131msal faaliyetler, bilim ve teknolojideki geli\u015fmeler do\u011frultusunda ge\u00e7mi\u015ften g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcze s\u00fcrekli bir de\u011fi\u015fim i\u00e7erisindedir. 2005 y\u0131l\u0131nda b\u00fcy\u00fck veri teriminin bilimsel literat\u00fcre girmesi, veri depolama ve i\u015fleme s\u00fcre\u00e7lerinde ya\u015fanan geli\u015fmeler ile birlikte b\u00fcy\u00fck veri, ekonomik ve sosyal hayat\u0131 pek \u00e7ok alanda yeniden \u015fekillendirmeye ba\u015flad\u0131. &nbsp;Bu k\u00fcresel de\u011fi\u015fimde tar\u0131m sekt\u00f6r\u00fc de yer ald\u0131 ve b\u00fcy\u00fck veri tar\u0131m sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde bir \u00fcretim fakt\u00f6r\u00fc haline geldi. \u00d6nceki d\u00f6nemlerde de veri, tar\u0131msal girdiler ve \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131lar aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fkinin belirlenebilmesi ve uygun politikalar\u0131n geli\u015ftirilebilmesi i\u00e7in \u00f6nemli bir bilgi kayna\u011f\u0131 olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyordu ancak verinin toplanmas\u0131 ve analiz edilerek bilgiye ula\u015f\u0131lmas\u0131nda kullan\u0131lan y\u00f6ntemler karma\u015f\u0131k problemlere \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcm sa\u011flamada ve \u00e7e\u015fitli fakt\u00f6rler aras\u0131ndaki ili\u015fkileri modellemede yetersiz kal\u0131yordu (Lioutasa ve Charatsaric, 2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fczde makine \u00f6\u011frenmesi, do\u011fal dil i\u015fleme, bilgisayarla g\u00f6r\u00fcy\u00fc kapsayan yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamalar\u0131, g\u0131da-tar\u0131m i\u015f modellerine entegre olmaya ba\u015flad\u0131. Uydu g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri, uzaktan alg\u0131lama sistemleri ve di\u011fer donan\u0131m maliyetlerinin azalmas\u0131 yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131n tar\u0131m teknolojilerinde kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 daha ekonomik hale getirdi (IFC, 2020). &nbsp;Tar\u0131msal ekosistemlerin anla\u015f\u0131labilmesi i\u00e7in \u00e7e\u015fitli fiziksel \u00f6zellikler ve durumlar s\u00fcreli olarak g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleniyor, \u00f6l\u00e7\u00fcl\u00fcyor ve verilerin ili\u015fkisi ile bu ili\u015fkilerden do\u011fan sonu\u00e7lara y\u00f6nelik analizler ger\u00e7ekle\u015ftiriliyor. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalar yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamalar\u0131n\u0131n tar\u0131msal \u00fcretime entegrasyonu sayesinde s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilir kalk\u0131nma a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00f6nemli kazan\u0131mlar sa\u011flad\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6steriyor. \u00c7evresel etkilerin azalt\u0131lmas\u0131, do\u011fal kaynaklar\u0131n daha verimli kullan\u0131lmas\u0131, verimlilik ve gelir art\u0131\u015f\u0131 bu kazan\u0131mlar aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Konstantinos G. Liakos ve arkada\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n 2018 y\u0131l\u0131nda yay\u0131nlad\u0131klar\u0131 makalede makine \u00f6\u011frenmesinin tar\u0131m sekt\u00f6r\u00fcnde kullan\u0131m\u0131na ili\u015fkin 40 akademik yay\u0131n\u0131 inceleyerek yapt\u0131klar\u0131 s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131rmada uygulamalar \u00fcr\u00fcn y\u00f6netimi, hayvanc\u0131l\u0131k y\u00f6netimi, su y\u00f6netimi ve toprak y\u00f6netimi olmak \u00fczere d\u00f6rt ba\u015fl\u0131k alt\u0131nda ele al\u0131n\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00dcr\u00fcn y\u00f6netimine y\u00f6nelik uygulamalarda veriminin tahmin edilebilmesi, bitki hastal\u0131klar\u0131, yabanc\u0131 otlar, \u00fcr\u00fcn kalitesi ile bitki t\u00fcr\u00fcn\u00fcn tespitine y\u00f6nelik \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar yer al\u0131yor. &nbsp;Makalede yer verildi\u011fi \u00fczere, tar\u0131mda zirai hastal\u0131k ve zararl\u0131larla m\u00fccadele i\u00e7in kullan\u0131lan pestisitlerin toprak ve su kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n kirlenmesi, biyo\u00e7e\u015fitlili\u011fin azalmas\u0131, ekosistem hizmetlerinin<sup>1 <\/sup>zay\u0131flamas\u0131, tar\u0131m \u00fcr\u00fcnlerindeki kal\u0131nt\u0131lar nedeniyle g\u0131da g\u00fcvenli\u011finin sa\u011flanamamas\u0131 gibi olumsuz etkileri \u00e7ok b\u00fcy\u00fckt\u00fcr.&nbsp; Bu noktada kullan\u0131lan makine \u00f6\u011frenmesi, pestisitlerin yer ve zaman hedefli olarak kullan\u0131lmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yor. Zirai hastal\u0131k ve zararl\u0131lar\u0131n g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc i\u015fleme sistemleri ile tespit ve ay\u0131rt edilmesini sa\u011flayan uygulamalar, \u00fcretim alan\u0131nda pestisit kullan\u0131lacak hedef alan\u0131n do\u011fru olarak belirlenmesini m\u00fcmk\u00fcn k\u0131larak pestisit kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 azalt\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yabanc\u0131 otlar\u0131n do\u011fru olarak tespitinde sens\u00f6rlerle birlikte devreye giren makine \u00f6\u011frenme algoritmalar\u0131, do\u011fru ve erken tespit sayesinde \u00e7evre etkisini azalt\u0131yor. &nbsp;\u0130ncelenen yay\u0131nlarda \u0131\u015f\u0131k spektrumlar\u0131, doku tabakalar\u0131 ve kamera g\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fcleri gibi \u00f6zellikler kullan\u0131lan makine algoritmalar\u0131 sayesinde %98\u2019e varan do\u011fruluk oranlar\u0131 ile tespitlerin yap\u0131labildi\u011fi belirtiliyor. Bir sonraki a\u015famada, tespit edilen yabanc\u0131 ot ve hasta bitkileri yok eden robot ve ara\u00e7lar\u0131n geli\u015ftirilmesi sayesinde m\u00fccadelenin pestisit kullan\u0131lmadan yap\u0131lmas\u0131 hedefleniyor.&nbsp; \u00dcr\u00fcn kalitesi ile ilgili yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamalar\u0131nda ise, temel yakla\u015f\u0131m \u00fcr\u00fcn kalitesi ile ili\u015fkili olan \u00f6zelliklerin belirlenmesidir. \u00d6zelliklerin do\u011fru olarak belirlenmesi ve s\u0131n\u0131fland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 hem \u00fcr\u00fcn fiyat\u0131n\u0131 olumu y\u00f6nde etkiliyor hem de \u00fcr\u00fcn israf\u0131n\u0131 azalt\u0131yor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hayvanc\u0131l\u0131k y\u00f6netiminde kullan\u0131lan yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamalar\u0131nda hayvan sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve \u00fcretim s\u00fcrecine odaklan\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131 g\u00f6r\u00fcl\u00fcyor. Hayvan davran\u0131\u015flar\u0131n\u0131n g\u00f6zlenmesine y\u00f6nelik makine \u00f6\u011frenme y\u00f6ntemleriyle hastal\u0131klar\u0131n erken a\u015famada belirlenmesi, beslenme \u015fekillerinin hayvansal \u00fcr\u00fcn verim ve kalitesine etkisinin tespiti sayesinde \u00fcretimi optimize edilmesini sa\u011flayan uygulamalar bulunuyor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su ve toprak y\u00f6netimine y\u00f6nelik yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamalar\u0131 \u00e7evresel s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirlik ve verimlilik a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan \u00e7ok \u00f6nemli olup k\u0131s\u0131tl\u0131 su kaynaklar\u0131n\u0131n verimlilik art\u0131\u015f\u0131n\u0131 da sa\u011flayacak \u015fekilde y\u00f6netimi olduk\u00e7a zordur. \u00d6rne\u011fin buharla\u015fma yoluyla su kayb\u0131 \u00e7ok karma\u015f\u0131k bir s\u00fcre\u00e7tir ve bitkinin su ihtiyac\u0131n\u0131 miktar ve zaman a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131nda do\u011fru tespit edebilmek ad\u0131na \u00e7ok \u00f6nemlidir. &nbsp;Bu kapsamda geli\u015ftirilen bir yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamas\u0131nda 1951- 2010 y\u0131llar\u0131na ili\u015fkin 44 meteoroloji istasyonu verisi kullan\u0131larak kurak ve yar\u0131 kurak iki iklimde ayl\u0131k ortalama buharla\u015fma miktar\u0131 tahmin edilmi\u015f. Toprak y\u00f6netimi kapsam\u0131nda geli\u015ftirilen yapay zek\u00e2 uygulamalar\u0131nda ise, topra\u011f\u0131n durumu, sertli\u011fi, s\u0131cakl\u0131\u011f\u0131 ve nemi gibi \u00f6zelliklerinin tahmin edilmesi hedefleniyor. Topra\u011f\u0131n \u00f6zelliklerine g\u00f6re yap\u0131lan \u00fcretimde, girdiler optimize edilerek tar\u0131m\u0131n \u00e7evreye etkisi azalt\u0131l\u0131rken verim art\u0131\u015f\u0131 sa\u011flan\u0131yor(Liakos ve di\u011ferleri, 2018).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>IFC taraf\u0131ndan yay\u0131nlanan \u201cTar\u0131m \u0130\u015fletmelerinde Yapay Zek\u00e2 Kullan\u0131m\u0131 Y\u00fckselen Pazarda B\u00fcy\u00fcyor\u201d ba\u015fl\u0131kl\u0131 yaz\u0131da g\u00fcn\u00fcm\u00fcz g\u0131da tar\u0131m i\u015f modellerini d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015ft\u00fcrmekte olan yapay zek\u00e2 platformlar\u0131na yer veriliyor. Platformlar\u0131n i\u015flevleri karar deste\u011fi, pazaryeri, lojistik ve altyap\u0131, finansal hizmetler, hayvanc\u0131l\u0131k \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcmleri ve robotik ve malzeme olmak \u00fczere yedi ba\u015fl\u0131k alt\u0131nda toplan\u0131yor. Platformlar bu i\u015flevler kapsam\u0131nda ekonomik, sosyal ve \u00e7evresel s\u00fcrd\u00fcr\u00fclebilirli\u011fe \u00e7e\u015fitli katk\u0131lar sa\u011fl\u0131yor.&nbsp;&nbsp; \u00d6rne\u011fin pazaryeri i\u015fleviyle faaliyet g\u00f6steren, &nbsp;Afrika\u2019daki meyve ve sebze pazar\u0131ndaki al\u0131c\u0131 ve sat\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131 e\u015fle\u015ftirerek pazar akt\u00f6rlerini bir araya getiren Twiga Foods isimli platform, k\u00fc\u00e7\u00fck \u00e7ift\u00e7ilerin al\u0131c\u0131lara direk olarak ula\u015fmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yor. &nbsp;&nbsp;\u00c7ift\u00e7iler i\u00e7in bu platform \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin talep ekonomisi ile uyumlu olarak fiyatland\u0131r\u0131ld\u0131\u011f\u0131, gelir art\u0131\u015f\u0131 sa\u011flayan \u015feffaf ve mobil bir pazar olu\u015ftururken, al\u0131c\u0131lar a\u00e7\u0131s\u0131ndan y\u00fcksek kalitede \u00fcr\u00fcne ula\u015fabilme avantaj\u0131 sa\u011fl\u0131yor. Platformun en \u00e7arp\u0131c\u0131 katk\u0131s\u0131 ise, \u00fcr\u00fcnlerin direkt sat\u0131c\u0131ya ula\u015fmas\u0131 sayesinde hasat sonras\u0131 \u00fcr\u00fcn kay\u0131plar\u0131n\u0131 %30 oranlar\u0131ndan %5\u2019e d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcr\u00fcyor olmas\u0131. Agrosmart isimli firma taraf\u0131ndan olu\u015fturulan bir di\u011fer platformda ise, sahadaki milyonlarca veri noktas\u0131ndan ve uydudan al\u0131nan veri makine \u00f6\u011frenimi ile konsolide edilerek hava tahmini, sulama \u00f6nerisi, toprak ko\u015fullar\u0131 gibi bilgileri sunarak \u00e7ift\u00e7ilerin \u00fcretim performanslar\u0131n\u0131 geli\u015ftiriyor, \u00e7evre etkilerini azalt\u0131yor ve t\u00fcm g\u0131da tar\u0131m de\u011fer zincirini destekliyor.
